Southwark Living History Museum Project

This is the digital home of the Southwark Living History Museum. This website is for the advertisement and disclosure of the museum and the research that has been collected for use of education into the history of the Southwark region (the region situated on the South bank of the Thames River, directly across from London proper, where is situated the famous Globe Theatre of Shakespeare’s notoriety); this may include interest from any English historians, Shakespeareans, and the like. The research gathered is from circa 1500 to 1800 CE. The museum has been allocated to be built within the Northwest Arkansas region of the United States as an educational and cultural experience that many Americans would not normally be exposed to because of the cost inherent in traveling abroad. By bringing all the research together into a digital format, other researchers will have an easier time accessing the information about Southwark.
